This is a quick pencil sketch and iPhone paint-over of a character concept.

I have a few useful apps on my iPhone that allow for a bit of creativity whenever inspiration takes hold: Brushes, Mill Colour, and PS Mobile.

Progression from sketch to paint-over

A: iPhone photograph of my quick pencil & paper sketch

B: Adjusted exposure & saturation, sharpened using the PS Mobile iPhone app

C: Colour layers and a new phaser were finger-painted using the Brushes iPhone app

D: I've applied the "70's" Look using the iPhone Mill Colour app

The final image at the top of the page is a colour mix of C & D done in Photoshop on a PC.
